Carolina Disco Turkeys

The Winston-Salem-based Caroling Disco Turkeys, founded in 2021, were the top independent team in North Carolina before joining the Blue Ridge League and are popular nationwide. The team was named "Best Sports Team in the Triad" in 2025 by local magazine Yes! Weekly. They had their first two players sign with MLB organizations in 2024.

Marion Hungry Mothers

Nolan Ryan starred for the Appalachian League Marion Mets before going on to an MLB Hall of Fame career. The MiLB Appy League team played in Marion Stadium (now Hurricane Stadium) from 1965 to 1976. The Hungry Mothers started in 2025 and brought back high-level baseball back to the town's famous ballpark.

Queen City Corndogs

The Corndogs finished in the top half of the Southern Collegiate Baseball League standings in both 2024 and 2025 before joining the Blue Ridge League. The Corndogs roster regularly includes the top players from the talent-rich Charlotte area. The team was previously known as the Charlotte Vipers/Venom and count Cincinnati Reds Rhett Lowder as a program alum.

Uwharrie Wampus Cats

The Wampus Cats posted a winning record in their inaugural season in 2023 before joining the Southern Collegiate Baseball League in 2024. With an opportunity to grow their profile as a top regional team, now they are proud members of the Blue Ridge League. In their short history, the club has already achieved multiple sellouts of their intimate, 1,000-capacity Don Montgomery Park in baseball-crazy Stanly County. They had their first MLB Draft pick in 2025.

Davie Crocketts

The Crocketts are a set to begin play in 2026, after a public team launch in late 2025. The team, based in Mocksville, North Carolina, will play at Mando Field at Rich Park, which is the springtime home to the Carolina University Bruins baseball team. The stadium features a covered grandstand and a large berm down the first base line. Davie County has a rich baseball tradition with the area regularly producing MLB draft picks.

Joanna Hornets

The Hornets have joined the Blue Ridge League ahead of our inaugural league season after launching their program in 2025 as an independent. The team will play out of Joanna Stadium, a 1920's era mill stadium in rural Joanna, South Carolina that the team is rebuilding with the Joanna Project. The team name pays homage to the textile team that came before them.

Greenwood Flying Monkeys

The Flying Monkeys begin play in 2026 and bring summer collegiate baseball to Greenwood. The team will play at historic Legion Field, former home of the minor league Greenwood Braves and Greenwood Pirates, marking the return of baseball to one of South Carolina’s most recognizable ballparks.

Spartanburg County Peaches

The Peaches begin play in 2026 and bring high-level summer collegiate baseball to Spartanburg County. The team will play at Jim Everhart Field in Inman, a longtime community stadium in the heart of the historic Inman Mills neighborhood, one of the Upstate’s most established baseball areas.
