Blue Ridge League Names Logan Conklin Director of Baseball Operations
The Blue Ridge League has named Logan Conklin its Director of Baseball Operations as the league prepares for an expanded 2027 season.
Conklin currently serves as head baseball coach at Carolina University, an NAIA program in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In his new league role, he will assist with baseball operations, communication with coaches and teams, and the coordination of league-wide baseball matters.
A native of Muncie, Indiana, Conklin played catcher at Carolina University before joining the Bruins' coaching staff and eventually becoming head coach.
He also brings firsthand experience in summer collegiate baseball, having played for multiple summer teams, including the Carolina Disco Turkeys, now a Blue Ridge League member, and the Casper Horseheads in Wyoming.
"Logan brings a great combination of experience as both a summer collegiate player and a college head coach," said Blue Ridge League Chairman Greg Sullivan. "He understands what players and coaches need from a league, and we're excited to have him helping us strengthen our baseball operations as we continue to grow."
Conklin's appointment is one of several new offseason moves for the league following a successful inaugural eight-team season in 2026.
