Blue Ridge League adds Joanna Hornets

JOANNA, S.C. — The Blue Ridge League announced today that the Joanna Hornets will join the league beginning with the 2026 season, bringing high-level summer baseball back to one of South Carolina’s oldest baseball communities.

Joanna baseball dates back to 1915, with Joanna Stadium, originally built in the 1920's, serving as a longtime centerpiece of the town’s sporting life. The stadium is currently undergoing revitalization as preparations are made for the Hornets’ return to competitive play at the location.
