Blue Ridge League Adds Expansion Team for Mocksville, NC

Club to Play at Mando Field at Rich Park Beginning in 2026

MOCKSVILLE, NC — The Blue Ridge League has officially added an expansion franchise in Mocksville, North Carolina, with the team set to play its home games at Mando Field at Rich Park beginning in the 2026 season.

The franchise will temporarily be called Davie Baseball Team until an official team name, branding, and identity are unveiled later this winter.

“This is an important step for both the league and the Mocksville community,” said Blue Ridge League leadership. “Davie County has a deep baseball tradition, and Mando Field at Rich Park offers a historic and community-centered setting that fits perfectly with the Blue Ridge League’s mission.”

Mando Field, located within Rich Park, has long served as a focal point for baseball in Davie County and will now host collegiate summer baseball as part of the Blue Ridge League’s regional footprint.

The Mocksville franchise will feature collegiate players from across the country, providing high-level summer competition while emphasizing affordable family entertainment, local partnerships, and community engagement.

Additional details regarding front office staff, schedule, ticketing, sponsorship opportunities, and the permanent team name will be announced in the coming months.
